Sweden, Kingdom. An Order of the Sword, Commander Star, by C.F. Carlman, c. 1930 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac then struck off strength on(Kungliga Svrdsorden). Instituted February 23rd, 1748 by King Frederick I. Constructed of silver, gilded silver, and enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross with ball finials, the cross consisting of a scaled surface with an ornate border, along with a circular turquoise enameled medallion bearing three gilded Swedish crowns, along with a vertically oriented sword, the reverse plain, with an intact vertical pinback, marked CFC for manufacture by C. F.
